Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us at hello@beam.org for more information regarding our casework services.

Does Beam still offer Crowdfunding support?

Beam ended its crowdfunding and donations model after helping over 5,000 people into jobs and homes since 2017.

As an organisation, we are now delivering direct casework services for government, alongside pioneering AI tools to help frontline workers deliver faster, fairer, and more human support.

How do you partner with councils?

We work with council teams on a yearly basis to deliver shared goals in helping support people out of Temporary accommodation and providing employment support.

Partner councils can refer people to Beam, and our caseworkers will then reach out to offer one to one support.

Can people self-refer to Beam's service?

No. We are only able to support direct referrals received by government partners like partner local authorities, prison services and more.

Can Beam support me?

Beam is commissioned by local authorities or government departments. If you’re interested in Beam’s support, the best way to get help is contacting your local support services such as your council who can refer you if we are working with them.

Explain your support model

Our support model is customised for the needs of our partner organisation. Generally, our housing and job support involves one-to-one caseworker assessment, person-centered guidance and regular contact to build a strong relationship to work towards stability for the individual.
